I want to use my iPhone 5S as a GPS.

Can anyone suggest a case that can protect the iPhone, not only from impacts and water, but also vibrations. I'm thinking about a Survivor case but will they reduce vibration enough to protect the phone?

I dont use voice directions but of course bluetooth could do that if I needed it.

I used a otter box defender then made the belt holster into a mount by removing the clip and adding a ram ball.

Two years on its never fell out!

I think your worrying to much about vibrations, mine is mounted on a thumper thats ridden on the trails.

I dont come on here much anymore so pm me if you want any more details :beerjug:

Wow thanks folks. great info. :)

The Life-proof looks great but doesn't seem to have a power connector port. Then I found one at £4 so whats to lose.

@IJGser - Ram ball is a great idea and thanks for the heads up on vibrations. Not knowing what these will handle I wasn't too keen to find out the hard way. ;)

i have one of these with a 5S.

seems to work ok. phone is held in a silicone inner + a hard, waterproof shell.
