I have an ipod nano connected to the RT.
Can I leave that connected to the bike in the OFF position as I've noticed that it turns itself ON when you want to access it?
In other words, will it be much of a "drain" on the bike?

It'll charge up then take no more. Leave it connected, if there is any drain it'll be 3/4 of fek all.

Min iPod nano has been on the bike for a few months now, only take it off when want to refresh the music.

Never had a starting problem with the bike.

can I ask if you mean connected by lead via the audio socket in the right hand "cubby hole" or just by a lead connected direct to the battery / switched live ?

Thanks for your reply.
It's left OFF and connected up in the right hand side compartment.
