IPod Help... Please

It could be that the device may have not been recognised first time round, have a look in Device Manager (Control Panel then System then Hardware) to see if there are any unknown devices - they usually have a yellow question mark.

If you have any you could try uninstalling them and restarting then plugging it back in - might work ???



I have looked and I don't have anything in my Device Manager it is completly empty.

Completely empty ? That doesn't sound right at all !

Does it not even have entries for Display Adaptor, keyboards etc etc ?

No it is a completely blank box, there isn't anything in it. :nenau
 
Try setting up another dummy one, making sure it has admin powers and see if the Device manager shows then.
