Ireland in September

Yep.....
Beautiful spot, not to be missed...the ride up to it could also be considered an "event"

Had an interesting chat with the lovely girl selling 99's in the van in the bottom car park...very welcome...she explained how the idiotic behaviour of campervans/ mobile home users in the bottom car park had forced a byelaw, a sign at the top prohibiting their further progress, and the employment of a beach ranger to enforce the prohibition.
What is it with people?

That all sounds good Flintlock but we did a coastal tour of Northern Ireland and Ireland in 2023 and rode the Mourne Mountains. I also play golf there every year at Ardglass and Royal County Down in Pat Jennings Golf Classic so I know there well already.
I was wondering why you were leaving out Northern Ireland lol. Great roads and scenery. But you can't go wrong with all the other suggestions. Just hope you get good weather.

Thanks all.

I have added my first day route to MRA. Any advice or suggestions would be most welcome.

Hopefully you can see this -

There'll be other's on here who can better advise you on your day 1, but having spent a weekend in Donegal at the ABR meet I'd happily give you some tips on your Day 2. 👍

Tomorrow I will mostly be in Connemara....
Wednesday I will be in Killarney and heading around to Bantry before heading home.

(getting 4 tyres on the car in Bantry.......looking forward to that lovely new tyre comfort on the drive home)

Here is my Day 2. Just a draft although Ballyshannon looks like a good overnight stop.

Day 3 Draft based on Hatch suggestions:

May go a bit further south though as I have already stayed in Ballina before.

Any suggestions welcome.

And Day 4 down to Clifden. Again - any help on optimising would be most welcome.
