Can any of the Irish lads recommend me a nice hotel or B&B within a day's ride of Belfast please?

I know that really anywhere in Ireland is within a day's ride, but I'm looking for someting a bit special. For many years I had a little bolt hole to go to on the Isle of Seil near Oban, but due to a change in domestic circumstances I need to be nearer home, so I'm trying to find a venue on home soil that I can visit when the opportunity arises, maybe once or twice a month during the fair season for an overnighter.

I'm looking for somewhere quiet with good food, no hassle, with a relaxed atmosphere and secure bike parking - preferably with entertaining roads en route. I have spent quite a while on the net but I'm none the wiser although I am drawn towards Westport or Achill.

Grateful for any suggestions.

the b and b on lovers walk in dumfries (hey the boats only two hours )

lough bran house farnagh carrick on shannon - nice views of the lake and lough allen also not far away and glencar waterfall and manorhamilton (the roads)

stayed in them all and all good and not expensive

The place is lovely and cosy, the food is delicious and the proprietor, Máire, and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The roads and scenery around there are perfect for riding on a dual-sport bike (the UKGSer Into The West is in this area). It's in a very rural location, so it's very peaceful. There isn't a secure car park, as such, but it's so rural there, I don't think that's a problem. There is a paved area outside the front door, where you could park the bike.

I've no connection with the place, but I was delighted with the way they looked after us for the wedding and a lot of the guests commented on how nice the hotel and staff were.

Between Star Wars and the Wild atlantic way , the Sea View Tavern has gone from relatively
quite to a busy wee spot . You will need to Book .
Parking is Available to the rear , and although not enclosed is Secure . But i am told if your
not happy the proprietor will gladly get you secure parking . i doubt you would need it.
