Come own up, who was it?

Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a post office in an Aberdeenshire town.

The incident happened at the Raemoir Road post office in Banchory at about 1400 BST.

Two men wearing motorbike helmets demanded money before making off on a silver and yellow motorcycle, believed to be a BMW.

They escaped in the direction of the Raemoir Garden Centre. No-one was injured as a result of the incident.

Grampian Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

FFS, misssed that post. Bit too much of a coincidence that. With a bit of luck they will now dump the bike and the owner will get it back.

Just back home a day early and saw the paper. My first thoughts were the recent stolen BMW 850 (I sold mine a few years ago so it wasn't me officer). Apparently the bike was seen heading off to Westhill but I would put good money on it that this is the bike used for the Robbery.

Nice detective work Tuned...... Do you know where the pikeys have gone who did my drive as they have dug up one down the road and done a runner, I'll give the lady your number:D

Had a wee raz over to Aboyne today just to give the police a head ache on my orange bike.

In all seriousness, a yellow and silver GS was recovered from Cove today - the polis have not officially told the owner that it was the bike used in the attempted robbery in Banchory but....:augie
Seemingly, they are going to do a 'witness parade' with it to make sure it was the bike used.

Well hopefully Adam will get his bike back as it looked a cracker (in the best colours too).

FFS....is that right Andy !
I was away to give them some business.
Some folk would rather nick a tenner than earn a grand.

Strange but true. Apparently the Trading Standards Officers were on to them as they were saying all about Warranties etc but had no paperwork to back it up. I wasn't interested in a bit of paper as long as the job was done well which it was so I'm happy (unlike the chap down the road:blast
