Had a Yamaha TDM 900 for the last 4 years and it's time for a change. Considering a GS 1150. Has anyone out there made this move and if so are/were you a happy badger?

I can only speak from limited experiance: I test-rode a TDM900 and found it fabulously efficient, powerful, handled well, but utterly without "soul" - b It was like "white goods" faultless in what it did, but utterly un-involving...

I went for a TDM 850 to the 1150 GS.
I really liked the TDM but the GS was better at most things and I'd been hankering after one for a while.
No regrets.

i had a TDM 850.... the 1150 is a million time more fun...... TDM dives quicker then a u boat in the atlantic and is well...... a bit dull... 1150 handles, is fast enough for me ! and has lots of bling opportunities!!!... go fer it!
