Is it worth it ????

I have a 2010 1200 GS. I have put Remus Headers, end can and a K&N Filter on it. I am very pleased with the results but have been informed that they run really rich when this has been done.
I am lead to believe that the way round this is to get them re-mapped, and Hilltop Motorcycles have been recommended to me.
A couple of questions for you, is it worth doing ? Do Hilltop come recommended, who has used them ? Where you pleased with the results ?

The opposite it true, with the mods done they run really lean, almost to the point of engine damage being likely. A remap or power commander enriches the mixture, making the engine smoother, more powerful and less likely to detonate/overheat/burn out valves.
