Bad batch of fuel? My GS once dropped to 25, normally I get 55-60 MPG.

I had to make a choice, service the GS or put a new cambelt on my car ( which is well overdue).

It depends if you can afford to put a new engine for the car. Cam belts last longer in cars that do long journeys. But do lots of short commutes (like most do) and that 60K belt interval is suddenly 40K or 4 years.
