Neil there are few Guzzi's around here but I'm starting to see the occasional V85 out on the road. There are two others in the town nearby, both friends who bought last year them after seeing mine. I've not seen another Stelvio yet though.
I'm leaving Friday or Saturday on a 14-16 day ride and after pondering the last couple days what bike to take I decided on the Stelvio. Mostly because it's finally set up for me with comfort seat, pegs, panniers, and I've not taken it on a longer ride yet. At 1,600 miles now I hope the tyres will last the trip.
But the V85 is just about as comfortable, holds more petrol and gets better mpg. The rear rack is larger and its top load panniers will effectively hold a little more. The Bridgestone tyres are worn but I have new TKC 70's here that I could put on. I could change my mind!
