Good products endure and are not just a flash in the pan - the GS has been the top seller for years and continues to be so, if they were rubbish then the competition would have seen them off by now, but the exact opposite has happened and the other manufacturers have failed to make any inroads into BMWs market share.

I don't know how reliable the new GS is, but over here you get a three year warranty. I found BMW Canada to stand behind their Bikes. Having said that, the new GS looks like a Hell a lot of fun and that's why I ride.

The Crosstourer forums seem to have nothing happening on them at all - one of them has had all of two posts this year. You can say all you like about the GS and the Boxer twin in general, it will fall on deaf ears here, but I suppose you don't have anyone else to talk to... do you?

No not hanging around on forums just doing a bit of research as I was considering spending best part of 13k on the new RnineT. Glad I did check it all out as I hate to have been lumbered with an unreliable piece if crap and much worse, end up being tarred with the brush of being a BMW rider :-D

Wouldn't know, not been on there. You obviously have though ;-) I tend to be on less specific forums where there's a bit more balanced debates, intelligent questions, answers and a bit more variety.
