Is ur bike put away for the winter yet ?

Just wondering if u have ur bike put away safe an sound till warmer days of next year, or do you keep it on the road till you see icebergs along the outside lane ??

mines away off in a deep slumber, but the reason for that is when i went to go for a spin last week the battery was knackered
 
I've got one more meet-up and then its strip-down, service and clean and fit a few 'crissy-presents' to it.

After that it comes into the house for the winter like this , my last Triumph.

Ready and waiting in the garage for those crisp clear winter days when roads are good and dry ;) ..... OK doesn't get so much use, but not put into storage. A blast every couple of weeks keeps it/me happy :thumb2
 
Use it evveryday except when frost etc are on the ground. Ride the bus lanes, avoid rush hour traffic and free parking on pavements....... Ireland is a bikers paradise. :clap

Still riding, despite the frost. Not 'cos I'm a hardened 'biker' you understand. Just because the gearbox on my car is knackered. :blast
 
Not yet, but getting close. -14c today and frosty, but no snow or ice :D

nice Triumph but,
most would settle for a little 'oxford products' clock on the handlebars - not a feckin great Grandmother clock on the pillion. :augie

I think you'll find the OP was from Ireland :blast

As regards the clock, I tried it on the bars but found I couldn't see very well and the hourly chimes were a real pain.:P:D
 
I didn't buy a GS for it to spend months parked up - the only time its not used is when the snow makes the climb up the hill to my house too dicey. It will be used every day until the snow comes and then I'll review the situation day by day
 
My Megamoto is tucked up until at least March, but the GS is ACF'd and ready to ride.:thumb

I don't have an issue riding this time of year, my biggest problem is going to be finding any spare time between now and going on holiday in 2 weeks.:blast
