Nick and I had the day off today, annual leave previously booked so he thought he would take me around the Island away from the main roads as he never could do so before when I was on the R6. Although I was born on the Island there are so many little lanes, nooks and crannies that I never even knew existed. We had a wicked time, did some green laning, stopped for a bite to eat at the Wight Mouse Inn at Chale, very nice public house, recommended for any of you on a visit over. Anyway, my clean bike by the end of it all was no so shall I say but I had a great time getting dirty, its amazed me how well it coped, I have never done this sort of thing before, only on a push bike when I was about 10! Its all washed and clean again now, just booked it into Vines for the end of the month for its first service, dont take long to wack on the miles does it. Got a few piccies of today:

That bike's not dirty. :nono :D

Mine is much much worse than that 99% of the time. :o

The off-road stuff does get addictive though. Up until recently I dreaded it but have been getting into it a bit more and I find my confidence growing all the time. Stick with it. You get to see some great places you wouldn't otherwise get to see at all. :thumb

not bad for being only a week old now all you need is some monster Moto-X boots...:thumb

You are both quite right here, 1: its not that dirty I know compared to the state I have seen some bikes get into but trust me its very dirty for me, I am normally such a clean rider, you are right too that it is addictive, I so wish that I could have a proper off road trials bike to play on so as not to wreck the beemer, but I will be careful with it wont be doing anything stupid. No.2: I most certainly do need some proper mx boots Lo-IQ, I had some lovely blue and white ones last yr but they were too big (size 7) and I simply could not ride in them and had the wrong bike at the time. Have had a look about for some similar as they were pretty damm sexy but cannot find them now or in a size 6 which is what I need, will probably have to get kids, lol! My sidi's which is what I have now are lovely and comfy and dont get my feet wet at all, they are more like slippers and can wear them all day without any hassle.
