I've just bought an 1150 GSA "SE"

GSA_at_Uluru-M.jpg

Congratulations on your great choice. :thumb2

Two years on the road and 33,000 miles throughout most of SE Asia and it managed to get me to Australia. Shame the poor old Beast is being shipped back to Blighty to be replaced with a XT660R. The bike would have gone on forever unfortunately my body is f***ed. :tears

Nice looking bike that...

I still think that the 1150GSA, whether black, white, or silver, with a set of TKCs is one of the best lookin bikes ever...They just have real presence for me..especially dirty ones...:aidan

Hi Chaps,

I posted a few weeks ago that I was in the market for a nice GSA "Special Edition" (1 of 90 UK imports)

I am pleased to say that Steve at Allen Jefferies came up with the goods for me :beerjug:

Just had it delivered this afternoon:D

Many thanks to all at Jefferies for 1st class service and a really enjoyable buying experience :aidan

Do Jefferies have a reputation to be able to source these bikes?

I'm interested in getting a clean lowish miles 1150GSA

They are a well respected dealer and have a lot of p/x bikes coming through.

Have a word with Steve at Jefferies and tell him what you want and I'm sure he'll find something for you:thumb2

Couple of SE's I've seen have white Bagster tank covers (maybe they weren't SE's!!!) - Is this to protect the pristine tank finish??? I've never seen a Bagster tank cover with a Bagster bag attached....

Genuinely - do they protect the tank that well? Whats the underside made of?

Underside is a bonded felt

All soft & cosy

Been using them for 20 years & work well
