Hello there!

I was thinking of heading up to Newry or thereabouts to pick myself up one of those fancy new tellys in the January sales.
I was wondering if any body knows the best place/ what shops to go to, as I will be traveling from Dublin and would like to give em a buzz before I head up.....
I have heard of Richer sounds in Belfast and mite go there.........
Any one any ideas?

Argos are doing some good deals on TV's. Check out their website and they have 2 shops in Newry. I also heard Tesco's are good value. 1 in Banbridge and Lisburn.

Just a bit of advice about HDtv, be aware of terms like HD compatable or HD ready. Too involved to go into here but make sure it is proper HDTV if that;s what you are buying,

On a different note the resolution of HDTV is equivilent to a 2.0 MP camera...........it's amazing isn't it........I am waiting for the organic 5.0MP that will cost 875 quid or 6.25 euros for a 90 inch plasma..... sorry 228.6cm which Woolworths will be selling in the new year sale

Thanks for the replys guys,
I checked out the Tesco and Argos web sites just like Mandy said, and I couldn't believe the difference in price between here in Dublin and in Northern Ireland for the very same products!!
I might head up during the week when I'm off work to make my purchase.
