Might sound a bit odd, but my R100GS seems to have developed a bit of a "Jogging" ride. This seems to happen at normal road speeds on pretty good roads.
It just seems to pick up a bit of a bounce. It`s a bit hard to describe, like a noise, but feels as though I`m on corrugations.
Braking, cornering and higher speeds all seem ok.
Any ideas, or am I just getting flabbier?

Hard to work out - no offence, but you give little to go on in the description.
Best i can think of ..
i'd be going round the Bike with spanners, looking for loose bits in the drive or suspension or even steering.
And checking fueling and HT leads/coils.
So ..
that's basically everything innit! :blast
Good Luck

Yeah, it`s a difficult thing to describe. On a car I`d suspect shock absorbers, but forks aren`t leaking and seem free. Head set`s o.k, wheels are round etc.
As you suggest, I`m drawn to an ignition problem so a proper check on this will have to be arranged. Also started to think I`m imagining it !

Here's my two penny worth; you say the wheels are round but what about the tyres? A bulge in the treaded area could feel like this. When cornering it's off the 'bump' and at high speed it levels out.

I`ll have a look tomorrow at the tyres. I get the feeling the problem is at the front,so is there a check I can carry out on the front damper as well?

A good, quick check is to find the bumpiest bit of road you can, a washboard dirt track snit hard to find round about here, and you will quickly find out what the problem is.

But Faeslane's guess of dud rear shocks is my best guess too.

Well, I`ve had a look at the front and all seems o.k, except there is about 1/8" play on the forks from the front wheel hanging to any resistance. Dunno if that`s normal. Doesn`t seem excessive?
Hagon shock on the back looks o.k, but I`m just off to give it a good clean and see if it`s leaking.
