After a bit of local info from any Scottish members

I have ordered some BMW merchandise from John Clark BMW online, but then received a subsequent 'strange' reply from them mentioning protection against credit card fraud requiring that I phone them, and have then not received my goods, nor an email update 1 week later. My card is, and always has been, fine.

Are they legit? Any other user experience of good/poor service from them?

Yes all will be fine. They have a problem with their website code. If you email them they will confirm and handle your order personally. They are actually quite good once past the website problems!

One of the best BMW dealers around. Give them a call as there must be a website issue

I did notice when I bought my 14 GS and paid with a card they indicated that above a certain price they do some extra checks if first time with that card.
Maybe you have hit that threshold value?
