eventually took the GS ADV to JC dundee who completed the 6k service plus new rear tourance - shortly after the service i noticed that two of the bolts securing the black muffler cover were missing - a quick call to JC suggested that these have been known to vibrate off - strange the service tech did not notice this however whilst in inverness last week these were replaced by calterdon under warranty - JC had no qualms about me providing the basic service items i.e oil , filter etc and this reduced the overall cost by a small margin
