JohnGS1100 Tuning Chip

I have a single spark 1150gs remus decat k@n RT tubes. I had a stage 6 in which was good. Just fitted the stage 8 and was even better. Noticed a better mid range. Really happy with it

By RT tubes you can try the CCP 30,87,87a (as has the RT).
Will give little more power after 7.100 rpms.

Thanks for the super quick delivery, ordered Sunday , arrived Saturday , just fitted the chip, a bit daunting lol, but it's done and running, road test in the morning ! Cheers!!

Test ride today 20 miles. I haven't added my K&N filter yet as it hasn't arrived so I was expecting perhaps a rough tickover. It didn't happen! Tickover is lovely and smooth, pulling through the gears is noticeably better with a lovely boost around 4000rpm which seems to go on forever ! At one point I must have reached the rev limiter in 3rd as it briefly cut out , I think I was well into the red range but at that point is was still pulling well. In short this upgrade is just brilliant, the bike (R1100GS) has been transformed and given it a new lease of life. This coupled with my new Remus system is going to make the summer more enjoyable .

The chip was relatively easy to fit, I made one mistake by seperating the bottom plate and not the top as instructed! No big deal just wasted some time. Start to finish was about 90 minutes I think. Well done John, another happy customer

I have had chip in my 11gs roughly for a year and half. Bike has lambda sensor and cat.

Now i could get aftermarket exhaust for reasonable price but it doesen't have place for lambda. Does this chip even need lambda sensor?

I mean it has lambda NOW on but it wouldn't have it with new exhaust?

It is connect now the lambda on your bike ?

Has Co-pot ?

Here is a photo of CO-pot :

Well.. thats Lazer exhaust in the pic without place for lambda.

Yes, it has lambda connected and there isn't co-pot.

Maybe it would be easiest just make a place for lambda into new exhaust to.

If you have not co-pot you need lambda connect to the bike.
Make a hole to the pipe of exhaust and connect it.

So by the lambda and de-cat system exhaust you need a stage 9 chip.
WIll give much more power at high. More torque at middle and better consumption.

Have you a free air filter ?

So you should connect the lambda. Make a hole in to the pipe of exhaust and fit it.
WIll give much better consumption.

Here we go:

And got also tailpipe, its fitted to killer:

Sounds lovely and its over 6 kgs lighter.

I have shocks at service, should be running again at weekend :)
