He replaced the clutch on my R1100GS yesterday and it feels like a new bike. Excellent work and a loan bike to get me to town and back. Top man.

Like a lot of folk on here you already knew that from many posts and threads, your personal experience now reinforces it.
When I had a FD failure he rescheduled his work for the following day and did my bike first thing as I had to get to Cornwall once he was done with fixing it.

No more backfiring
For he is indeed, a Top Man.
He identified a broken stick coil as the source of my backfiring when I had spent far too long worrying about how the internals were obviously destroying themselves at great cost to my bank balance.
That, and the service wot he done for me, has made riding a real pleasure again. The use of the loan bike thru' London rush hour was an experience!
Nice guy to talk to as well - interesting and informative, ever willing to spread his knowledge.

It is clear he was on holiday when you went in and he had a locum grease-monkey holding the fort. Sounds like he should stay away too.
+1 clutch replaced and sorted with no problems, even my faulty fuel sensor now works. Must be his mere presence fixes GS's!
