Just booked my Ferry to Santander for 19th Sept

Can anyone recomend me a hotel in the Picos either in or near Potes or anywhere in that area maybe even a little further west?? I've been twice before but the hotels weren't the best to be honest and it would be nice to find one recomended by a fellow tosser

You're right but there was a period of time when I had erm...free accomodation on region

Hi Andy,

We stayed at the Parador at Cereva de Pisuerga last year, if you want good quality accommodation (fantastic views from the rear terrace) this year we're going to try the Hotel San Glorio at 30 Euros a night plus meals (how the mighty have fallen) there are websites for both if you'd care to google for them.
We're travelling week ahead of you, so I guess a report on the Hotel San Glorio will be too late for you.
Incidently, there is also a Parador at Fuente De !

Just over the road from the Hotel Del Oso, but much cheaper, although still very nice.

Restaurant is a bit basic, but you can always do what we did & go over the road to the Del Oso for your evening meal

Cangas de Onis

We ended up staying at Cangas de Onis in the Hotel Puente Romano which is a fantastic little hotel which does breakfasts but no evening meals however the town is only 150m away with numerous eateries. Hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful and even gave us an extra room free of charge as one of the group snoored so loudly the oth lad couldn't get any sleep.
