The first thing I planned to do was to put an SC Projects pipe on my 1100 Evo but I found the standard can was plenty fruity enough (even though I prefer the look of the SC). I will maybe get one of those cheap full systems from AliExpress which seem to be about a quarter of the price of an SC can. I also had to fit an Evotec tail tidy but it looks like this 1200 has already been doneA nice set of Termignoni cans would suit you sir.And if you feel inclined, get the stainless headers polished.
Lovely bike

Thanks. I do find myself staring at it for long periodsI am so tempted to sell my Yamaha Tracer9 GT+ and buy an 1100 Evo
By the way, your 1200 looks absolutely gorgeous!

Before the first proper ride, I'd ridden the bike only a few yards and I had the "can't find neutral while the engine's running problem. I cleaned, lubed and adjusted the chain and... problem solved! Happy days. Until it started again. I now find neutral by changing into it while still rolling. Works most times. I'll have a look at the chain tension again soon.
I took it for the first decent ride to Ledbury. At first, I thought the bike felt a bit nervous, but then realised that was me! When I got off the narrow, bumpy lanes near me and onto some A and B roads, the bike felt light-steering, but balanced and secure: I realised that, at first, I had been putting in unnecessary steering inputs and so oversteering. When I relaxed and let the bike do its thing, it got better and better.
I find myself in third gear most of the time and have seen on a few sites that people often change the rear sprocket to 43 tooth from the 41 standard. I might consider that, but I'm very happy with how it is, so why bother?
