Woowwwwwwwwwwwwww! the nice people at Motorrad central have just fitted a Remus Revolution & 'Y' plus a techlusion box and a K&N filter....its not like the same bike , only problem is that it pulls so much i could do with a 7th gear! I like it:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D highly recommended, and as to the 30kg weight saving of the 1200, that'll be replacing the cat and std exhaust with a titanium one......:thumb :thumb :thumb I must say I prefer the road legal baffle to the slightly raucous straight through

Schnauzer,
Thinking of going for the same mods on my Adventure. Would you recommend Motorrad central? Were they able to setup the Techlusion correctly? I assume by your comments about the new performance!
Cheers,
Matt

Have got a Sebring exhust & Y-piece, K&N air filter & Techlusion fitted. Much better midrange and also lifts front wheel in first no probs. Still needs setting up properly as it sometimes back fires. Techlosion fitted by Jim Cray and its going back to him for the fine tuning.Much reccomended!!!

yeah - basically got the same plus the S inlet pipes and larger snorkel... with these mothers it is all 'little bit little bit' accumalative improvement but it does add up. The Techlusion must be set with a voltmeter - there is no other way and they should really state that clearly... the pot adjustment is VERY FINE
but easily set up and tweaked with the Vm.

cost - if i remember rightly approx £200 for the Y, £270 for the can and £225 for the techlusion and £50 for the filter.... very approx as I've misplaced the receipt!

setup - i'd certainly recommend Motorrad central, they've done a few apparently and Michael and his techies did a great job, no backfires whatsoever and oh so smoooth

What it do - it basically according to the blurb was developed by to act similar to a power commander, but only to add more fuel to the lean areas which happen for emission regs, and all the freer flowing bits as above........

I've fitted all the usual bits: Y piece, Remus race can, K&N plus chip.

I took the bike to Dynojet to have it checked so I would know if it was running lean or rich & found that it runs slightly lean at low rpm, slightly rich in the mid-range then slightly lean again at the top end. A Techlusion can only add fuel, as Schnauzer says, so I've sent an email to see when a Powercommander may be available.

If you've had a Techlusion gizmo fitted, I would get down to a dyno centre to have the fuelling checked. Beware though, not all dyno's check fuelling - Dynojet's website tells you which are which.

HTH,
