I have a 1990 R100RS and a R1100GS exhaust system, how close a fit are they to each other?
 
about as far away as it's possible to get the only thing they have in common is they have a hole through the middle. What are you trying to achieve? Because I'll be damned if I can figure it out :D

I'm going to do something with this bike but still looking for direction, it was worth an ask......do you want to buy an 1100 GS exhaust:P

This is the Airhead section. We don't ask really stupid questions in here like they do in the 1200 section.:D

You'll be wanting to know where to mount your tax disc next or which side to mount your bike from.

We have standards to maintain here.
