Hi Folks,

I have the Keis X25 jacket that I use along with the inner gloves, the controller I use is the wireless one. I find that the jacket will be nice and warm but the inner gloves are not that hot, in order to get the inner gloves to a nice temp the jacket ends up too hot.

So any ideas if there is a way to distribute the power differently so that the gloves get more power on lower settings than that of the jacket? Would the only way be to split the powers??

Just wandering if changing from the inner gloves to the full gloves like the X800 would make a difference or if they would suffer the same?

I have asked Keis so will see what they say.

Thanks in advance.

Mark

I have the X800 gloves as well as the jacket and trousers, working off the wireless controller - find they work well together and seem to distribute heat fairly well.

Powerlet / Warm'n'Safe have a dual controller that allows the owner to control the heat of two items (say, gloves separately from a jacket) very effectively. Maybe you could use one of their controllers and receivers? They are American companies, though their kit is available through UK suppliers, too. Got a sample link, mate? Natch, mate: http://www.riderz.co.uk

But first I'd check that your existing liners set-up is working as it should. Did it work OK in the past, or is this the first time you have tried it? Put simply, check carefully if the items are correctly connected and working properly, the jacket should not be roasting you, whilst the glove liners are 'freezing', obviously.

This is not an unusual issue - I have to use a dual controller with my Gerbing kit for the same reason.

I believe the problem is related to the level of blood circulation to the extremities of your fingers and toes - thus what will suit one person will not suit another.
