Keyboard reigon

Just upgraded my PC from Win 98 to XP, as per usuall despite the region and language to English Uk at all possible opportunities I still have a keyboard that thinks its american. But I cannot find the facility to change it. Anyone done this or know how? Help gratefully recieved.

Try Contrtol Panel - Regional and Language Options - Languages - Details.

If English (United Kingdom) is not in the large box, select it from the drop-down list above and then select it in the Installed Services box.

I just did this this afternoon , Iain will know a lot more than I do, but I found this useful. (Logitech keyboard.)

There is can be issue with the control panel settings.

XP can become confused, it can display UK in the dialog box, but really its US settings.

The soloution is to set it to US reboot, then set it back to UK and reboot.

If you have a fresh install it may not be your problem, however if its an upgrade you have performed then it maybe.

I have seen this on PC's numerous times before as its what i do for a living.
For the 5-10 ins it takes its worth a shot.
