Keyless ignition- key buttons

I can’t find anything in the manual as to what these do. Could someone explain please

tactile feedback, just like worry beads or those fidget spinners the kids had, no use what so ever as far as I could find out

For some reason it seems to be explained in the 1250 manual, but omitted in the 1200 manual.

Anyway, the button with the BMW logo may be used to activate the alarm manually. Other button deactivates

If you don’t have an alarm it does nothing .

They do precisely nothing on my 2018 Rallye TE.

Ah, good point! Just checked, alarm has been turned off, that may explain it. When I press the button now the indicators flash ��
