Hi lads 3 basteds. had a go of taking my bike but brake lock saved the day .
They snapped the steering lock on one of the two bolts that hold it in place all is working but steering lock backs off when put on . Bmw Preston ÂŁ412_00. Before fitting
You can not just get the case it’s all one .so eneny one got a spare or know were to get one cheaper . And as eneny one fitted a alarm and we’re is the best place to put it.

The disingenuous bloke on here I was going to buy a bike from was quoted over ÂŁ700 - seems you have a bargain...

Never use the steering lock as is so easy to overcome due to the wide handlebars.

Always use roadlok and additional disc lock on rear if leaving out of site and if a really dodgy area an extra disk lock on the front as well.

As regards any insurance query if bike recovered, my answer is the scrotes must have by passed it somehow.

Alarm is a waste of time.

One assumes they broke into your back garden or garage/shed?

An alarm is a factory option, only one place to put - rear tailtiday area
