I’m hoping someone has experienced this or maybe knows the answer.

After a steering lock is broken (pin sheared off) from a keyless unit (R1250GSA), is it possible to get it repaired/pin replaced?

Everything is working as it should, no issues other than steering lock pin is now absent.

Thanks
Pete

No, I completely agree. I wouldn’t now if I had one, but it’s just for future planning and if I ever sold it.

Same here, and I don’t live in London. I questioned it, (what’s the bloody point of keyless locking if you have to get a key out to put the disc lock on/off) and was told that it was standard for bikes over £15k.

I did look into this for my 2016 keyless GSA, and the answer was that the entire keyless locking unit is a single assembly. Replacing it requires recoding of the bike as well, at the time (ie 2016) it was the thick end of £1k.
