I wonder if anyone could tell me what this warning means?

I thought it might be the battery in the Keyless Fob was low but that symbol is a little key with a battery symbol underneath according to the manual.

I've search the forum but can't find anything on it.

Just as a bit of background - I managed to wash the fob on Monday and the bike wouldn't start. Took fob to dealers and they replaced the battery and hey presto it worked. I assume it was a new battery they used. Fob still works but now I have to make sure the fob is a lot nearer the ignition button than it used to be, which again I assume its because the battery is low.

I just can't see "!KEYLO" in the manual. Photo attached I hope!

Cheers

Nick

The handbook says it is a low battery in the key fob, if they did replace it with a new one perhaps there is a poor connection due to it getting wet? You could try putting it in the airing cupboard or changing the battery again?

Thanks Dave. Your eyesight is obviously better than mine. All I could find was the little key symbol

yep, my brother had this issue, fitted a new battery like you then a week later keylo was back....undo it as fitting a new battery, pop in a drying machine or warm air space over night ,then fit the battery back in

Thanks. Yes new battery sorted it but will pop in airing cupboard overnight. It's more robust than I thought. I was seriously thinking I'd have to get a new one
