Kielder k2 rally 2011

I have Karoo's on my Husky, but would I be safer on knobblies for this rally ? perhaps someone who has been before and knows the terrain would be kind enough to offer an opinion, first rally for me too.

if your doing rally pluss routes ditch the karoos remember f i m enduro tires no moto x

The GSA tank is big enough to ride there, do the event and ride home on 1 tank full :D

no ta :D

ah-haa so the carpet is just for refuelling?
The learning curve is steep on this one - I did say I was a newbie to competition eventing!

Cheers for the advice everyone... :)

I have asked this before but had no takers.
I have an entry into the rally but cant download the regs for some reason from the rally website.

OK Chaps,

Just go an email back from the organisers ;) Apparently we DON'T get given our race number at signing on :augie We have to buy our own but race numbers beforehand or you should be able to buy No's from the race shop on site.

Also petrol is available up to 6.30 Saturday not sure if that is in Bellingham or close by

And finally, final instructions should be posted on Sunday with our race No's.

This is what i sent,

"Hi,
Do you give us race numbers at signing on or do we get our own numbers and fit them before we turn up ?
Is there a petrol station in Bellingham ?
Thanks Mark"

This is the reply,

"hi there will be race numbers available from the race shop on site , petrol is available up to 6.30 saturday, final instructions sunday regards jk"
