Absolutely NOT. If you read page 73 in the manual, it advises you not to take the Adventure out when it's wet. If you MUST ride when it's wet, you MUST change the tyres.

that says it all then buy one with nobblys and ride it on road 4 times a year

I thought the knobblies were 'for demonstration purposes only' and that it goes further than the wet weather thing. Doesn't p73 go on to list other weather conditions that you must not use the bike in?

Kai

a load of bollocks if they where that bad they wouldnt be aloud to sell them .it rains in most countries and if they are suppling them on uk bikes then they got to be ok

aargh

of course your having a laugh :D ..................... how can you possibly ride 'knobbly' TKC's fitted on the road. :( ........all serious GSER's know that only Road Pilots or BTO 20's work on the road on a GS. I have seen Mad Mountain Man :bow and others trying to keep on the tarmac on Knobblies, Also saw Vern' :bow slipping and sliding on them ...... was in awe at the ability of these tyres to trash every road tyre fitted within yards........................ Me, i'll just stick to heidenaus :D :dabone

..................................... do they work.........................muppet :nenau
