knoblies on R80/7 ??

Having had to use the tube to get to work and meetings for a few days this week due to the snow, I am looking to fit knoblies to my R80/7 to use in extreme weather rather than the GSA as a lot lower to the ground and easier to pick up.

So, I am looking for advice on whether anyone has fitted knoblies (the more off road type the better) or even studded tyres that are suitable for snow conditions.

120-90 18 on the rear
100-90 19 on the front

Looking for advice and not piss taking / you shouldn't be riding your bike in the snow comments.
