meant to say 'frame tubes' before not tubs... the hazards of writing a sneaky post at work

My Kreiga Tank arrived this morning
One question - how did you attach the front of the adapter? Around the headstock or some other way? Any one got any piccies?

I took a rather simpler approach in the end. I reversed the bag, attached the loop ends to the frame just below the seat (as in one of the earlier pics in this thread) then stuck the velcro pads to the inside of the front plastics on the left and the right and stuck the velcro straps to those. Not a great explanation so I will try to take some pics later. I might change it in the future, but I needed to get it on tonight as I am off to Ireland tomorrow![]()

I bought a Kriega Tank Converter intending to use a US-10 rackpack on both the tank and the rack I have purchased .
Unfortunately the converter is too big to fit on the false tank top despite my best efforts .....which is a pity since the ability to use the US-10 on the tank would have been very useful on occasions since I do not want the bulk of a tank bag.
Any ideas ?

OK hopefully this is what you need - I don't do anything under the seat - in my case the lower straps run down the side of the front of the seat and is "Tied off" on the frame. I use a sheepskin and the buckles sort of disappear in that and aren't really a problem with my thighs even when standing.
I duplicated the previous posters set-up using large "key ring" type metal loops instead of the standard buckles - worked a treat. I also used the end with the larger cut-out uppermost and tied the two loop ends to the bars running back behind the headstock. All works great!! I'm using a US5 as a permanent mini tank bag, and have a us20 on a touratech rack instead of a rucksack.. Love the kreiga stuff..
This has already been covered in great detail in the following thread.
