KTM Magura bars on the 650

I've got the Magura bars conversion on my DRZ. I'm thinking about swapping it over with the 650 but having done this before on the 1150 I have some questions first...

Are the heated grips stuck onto the grip slots (this made heated grips on the 1150 impossible)?

Is the wiring fed through the bars fancy style like on the 1150?

Or are they just like Oxford grips?

Apart from tapping some threads into the ends for the handlebars is there anything else to worry about?
