I swapped the standard low beam headlight about 2 months after geting the bike from new with a PIAA Xtreme White Plus H7 and have been pretty pleased with the results. Now 5 months later I just got a LAMPF warning light. Apart from that everything is peachy.
I'm guessing its a warning about light power issues/fluctuations and I could just put the original bulb back in but before I do I wonder if anyone could explain to me what the LAMPF error is saying and what it means under these circumstances? I'm scared of the dark so don't ride much at night
, so its not biggie to just swap them again. But the H7 is a very good 110W from a 55W pull. I expected the life of it to be about half as long as the standard bulb rather than give me any grief.
Cheers.
