Laptop keyboard acting strange - help!

Started doing it yesterday - when you type some of the keys come up with something other than was intended

For example when you type a you get q and visa virsa

Type w and you get z type m and you get ,

but ertyuiopsdfghjkl for example all work

Any ideas before I take it back to the shop

Packqad Bell laptop that is less than - 6 months old

PS completely lost the full stop and its taken me 10 minutes to type this

Sounds a bit like someone has messed with you keyboard settings.

Have a look in control panel.

The laptop had some how switched itself to the French AZERTY keyboard layout

All back to normal now
