Looking for a replacement silencer for 2006 1200,already have the Remus downpipes and oe can,
Any recomondation as to which, a Remus or a Laser duo tech?
Any onfo would be helpfull...

Was watching a Laser on Fleabay £62 with 10 mins to go sold to someone else for £121 plus £10 p&p.
Same old story, as the wife says my finger weere to slow again.

They're all fine from what I've heard. I have a Remus with baffle out and it's great. Just don't forget to ditch the cat - it weighs a TONNE

As you have the Remus headers already you can basically fit any make of end can which is designed to fit on the bikes stock headers so the choice is pretty wide.

I've tried a number of end cans over the last 18 months (Stock, Laser, Remus Two Brothers and BMW Akra) and my personal preference was the Akra.

The Laser I found gave an annoying whistle with the baffle removed when coming off the throttle, the Remus really droned when cruising, the Two Brothers I loved but it was far too loud for the pillion.

As I said it's a personal opinon, I'm currently running with an Akra full system and their twin shotgun cans which I really don't like the look of but I find is the best combination for the bike.

When I fitted it initially I was just going to take it off right away but decided to take it for a run.

Damn thing has the bike running smooth as silk with no dips in the rev range and a noticeable improvement in performance.

Damn those Akra designers,

I use Remus front and BMW approved akro, best money Ive spent on bike (especialy as I got it 2nd hand with sod all use on it)
