HI peeps, my LCD display on my 1150 decided to play silly buggers today. It shows the fuel and time (although neither actually move or change time, and the oil temp and gear indicator is doing nowt. Seems to be stuck
Any ideas why and how to solve the problems?
The bike starts and runs fine so it doesn't suggest that the battery is the problem.
Come on peeps, give us a clue.

I know nothing but have you tried disconnecting the battery and re-connecting it to see if it clears it :nenau

just an idea

Actually Franz, I had a look at it a while ago and have not actually done anything as yet. The unit has been working fine. Could be water ingress as I was out in the rain the other day so I'll have a look.
Can it be dried out or is it fried?

If resetting it by disconnecting the battery does not work then look at the cabling: Steptoe has posted several times about finding wiring shorted to the frame where it has chaffed the insulation. The area around the headstock and under the tank is where to look.

Sometimes the faults are intermittent, e.g. only when on full lock or if it rains
