LDT bike anyone?

The empty motor is assembled,and the forks are fitted.

This arrived this morning ,all the way from California,
Seem to be like rocking horse poo in the uk,and ferkin expensive,
This hub won’t actually be used on the finished bike but once I’ve built it I can take a better look at the ride height.

Got a nice low ratio fd for it.
I’ll rebuild it later on.

Just need spokes and a rim,and bearings,seals tyres,tubes

Today’s task ,work out the ride height and length of shocks,plus ensure the angle of the driveshaft isn’t too extreme
That’s a big fail then
Guess it’s not having the short swingarm then

Perfect,not too tall either

Mudguards have arrived ,so some adjustments to the rear of the subframe were needed,
And some mounts fabricated.
I’ll sort the front mount later in the build

That’s the main reason for not building the motor yet,
Input on the final spec is tbc.

Shocks arrived today,

Spent today fabricating a front mudguard mount,

Made a start on fitting petrol tank,
And making the seat base,
Tank needs a bit more trimming but you get the idea.

Took a couple more pics today before the bike went off for its exhaust.
The rear of the tank has been modded.
And the lights are fitted.

I plan to have a nice small one made as well ,but the bike needs to pass noise tests ,
So this is on it for now

Is there a "balance"pipe between the rear shockers mike. Also is it dial a ride/adjustable or set and forget
