I had a little scare on Saturday and was wondering if anyone else had experienced the same ...
Took the 1200 for a little off road playtime and managed to drop it in the sand (a few times .... yes, I'm a novice
) ... slow speed stuff, no damage. However on the 3rd of 4th time it went over, about a cup full of fuel poured out of somewhere on the left hand side and ran down onto the exhaust! looked like it came out under pressure. Couldent help but think that that's not a great idea!
Bike was absolutly fine for the rest of the afternoon (fell over in the sand a few more times) and all the way home. Checked all the pipes, seals, connections etc, but they all look fine.
Solution is oviously to perfect the sand riding so it stays upright
, but has anyone had the same?
