Ok what Iam doing wrong . Joined Aliexpress, go to the page find the light click on buy , add DHL price £145 comes up the , buy now and it tells me the not availbe in your region? Country is good ,UK, address is good££££ are good not sure whats going on ?
Which region box are you refering to? The one with the UK flag next to GBP for currency ? Its a bit frustrating really.

I made sure it was GB and £ at the top which it sounds like you have
Then clicked buy and selected paypal and that was pretty much it
(paypal pre-populated my address etc.)
I never even noticed the option to select DHL for a couple of £more and left it as Aliexpress standard -
anyway, i dont really need it in a hurry !
How are you trying to pay ?
Mine took about a week to arrive. I just filled in the payment details and delivery address etc,
that was it.
I didn't select any other form of delivery. Just left as is.
They're are a number of vendors selling exactly the same unit. Maybe it's a foible of how the vendor filled out their own sales config. Try a different vendor. AE usually offers a load of the same things but from different sources when you scroll toward the bottom of the page...

Just ordered a unit from aliexpress, other than swapping out all bits and bobs onto new unit, anyone encountered any issues?
Any close up pics flying about from fellow tossers who have fitted this unit ?

Which one did you get? The oval (a la OEM version) or the 'radical' version?
Fractional difference between the two, in that the OEM lookalike has a hole in the bottom to accept the spigot on the sub frame. Other than that, it's two bolts and two electrical plugs. Oh, you'll need to remove the speedo mount and refit to the new headlamp. You'll find your way just by removing the original. If that's too big a challenge, it might be better to get someone else to do it!

No real Issues but you might want to tidy up the Wiring a bit. All looks untidy and needs Sheathing / Taping....

When exactly did the new regs kick in?
I have had two MOTs and zero comments. Last MOT s September last year. It is a purpose made LED unit. So long as the beam is doing the right thing, it shouldn't be an issue.

yours is in a housing / unit it was designed for

Gone up about £10.00 since I bought mine a couple of weeks back. Still a good price though.
So far so good! Has to be one of the best upgrades for these bikes.

Could you tell me if one of the lights in the unit fail, can it be replaced, or do you have to buy a new headlight?

I think you'd need to message the supplier for that answer. There is a couple of bolt heads on the back but I'm not going to try undoing one. Doesn't look like there's any access to individual bulbs.
