Anyone fitted a rear lamp LED board I have seen on Nippy Normans?
I like the look of them but are they any good.

Yep fits well and does what it says on the tin;;;;; i did give the back of the board and wires at the rear a good slop with ACF 50 and redo every month or so, on a 12 that is

Works perfectly.
I kept the standard red rear lense though as it was noticed that in bright sunlight the clear lens which is offered made it harder to see the brake light.

Have one of the clear ones and it is excellent.
The light was on my bike when I bought it so I have no idea where it was bought from.
One thing though,I put the bike through the MOT last week and the examiner noticed that there is no reflector,he passed the bike as he was a biker himself but I suppose some awkward examiner might not have passed it,so check with the seller if there is a reflector in the unit.
If there isnt one its a quick fix anyway,just stick a reflector somewhere around the number plate.
Wouldnt like to see your bike failing an MOT on something that im sure most people would never think about checking.

Grizzly's had one for the best part of three years now in his 1150, still seemed to be working fine when I saw it last weekend...

Fitted a NN LED rear light in about 10 mins but had problems with the CAN bus telling me bulb failure, turned out to be the contact on the back of the NN lamp adapter was making a firm enough contact.
Also fitted the NN LED rear indicators with the stip of red brake LEDs, took a bit more time to fit but worked first attempt

Had one on mind for god knows how long. I get the occasional can-bus warning when I first start the bike up, but just squeeze the brake lever and it's gone. When it's better weather I'll take it apart and look at the contacts
