And it any one has any idea why a 1200 with a LED rear light (aux) and when the LED side light is fitted LampF appears

The LED's have been spot on with old and new 1200's this I think is the first with a LED rear and the problem, if any other's out there with a pre 08 and LED rear let me know how they both perform.

Just a thought when i fitted my LED bulb it came up with LAMPF i then pulled the bulb out and turnt it 180 put it back in and no LAMPF not sure why it should be any differnet but its been ok since

Yes funny little devils these LED bulbs, if they don't work you turn them and then they should, it is so they can take the live feed any way, also had 2 bikes that they don't work on, both have a aux fitted NN style rear LED fitted, the side light LED gives the LampF will advise to turn the bulb but I think it may be a no go for bikes up to 07 with the LED rears.

It must be an upgrade thing then, 3 bikes with rear LED's have had the problem others seem fine, I wonder if a trip to the dealers would sort it on there computer, but it could make it an expensive LED light.

Another satisfied customer ,Got my hids today and fitted them ,Got the plug n play type (Not being technical) fitted them put them on and walked around the front of the bike and blinded myself Fk they are bright got a lamp f warning ,but will wait until tomorrow to go and turn the little one around

Well another day , thanks for the pm les, I pulled the lamp out turned it around and it dont work at all ,and still get the lampf
at least it works one way round ,Oh And I dont have led rear its an 06

Hi Les , I got my led and when fitted it showed Lampf . So I turned it around and it didnt work and stll showed Lampf, So I put the standard bulb back in.
Its a 07 gsa with standard rear light. funny beggars these canbus systems.

Mine's the same......07 GSA......Standard Rear light.......Bulb looks lovely but shows Lampf!......Turned the bulb round and it doesn't work at all........

The only bikes with a problem seem to be any fitted with a aux rear LED and 07 models, maybe the 07 need an up date all 08 on have been good and early standard bikes, I will always refund if not entirely happy.

And I think that's all it is. I love my HID heads but what is the point of this?

Especially as it seems prone to problems.
