Had a little chuckle when I saw how much snow had fallen on your bike overnight,but good grief get yourself a decent thermarest/exped type sleeping matress much warmer than a piece of of green closed cell foam.

That green closed cell foam is a £80 Thermarest!! and it worked a treat and totally insulated me from the snow

Thanks for all the kind comments chaps, it was a great weekend and the French guys I met up with were so hospitable and made the weekend for me. Anyone want to join me next year?

Great report. Dont know if I'd have the balls to ride my GSA in snow, but if I did I'd pack my snowboard, hopefully be easier to get down the mountain on that!
