Apologies if this has been asked before but does anyone have any advice on replacement seats for 1150Adv.
I don't want to lose any seat height if poss....

What are you trying to achieve by changing the seat? :nenau

I use an airhawk for long distance comfort. Cheaper than replacing the seat, better than gel (I know from expensive trial and error) and you can swap it from bike to bike really easily.

Of course if you're looking for something narrower and better suited to off-road the above will be of no use at all to you :D

I found that the original Adv seat gently slopes downhill, meaning it was uncomfortable for me, particularly on days when I do a lot of riding in town. Got a Sergent seat - well made and much more comfy (for me, anyway!). Not cheap though. And you don't lose any height, either.

Try a dual seat on you 1150 Adv

Trouble with the original seat is that my pillion is constantly sliding into me - ok if it's the missus ;)

I'm looking for a seat more suitable for two up touring. The original is ok for solo work.

I like the look of the seat in the photo - who's the manufacturer?
