Heads up for NI tossers - Lidl Smart Charger for 17 quid from Monday 27th Aug. I got one of these last time and I'm convinced it has the same innards as the CTEC one. Does the same job anyway

Bar stewards!! was 12.99 last time they had them in, still very recommended even after this colossal increase - I got two at the lesser price ages ago

Hi - price difference is likely the Norn Iron price vs the "mainland" price - Lidl tend to charge more for everything over here - maybe cos ??????? we are all pissed anyway - is it like an optimate ie "long term " trickle charger ??

As OP stated, it seems to function exactly same as a Ctek, which for my money is better than Optimate and similar, search Ctek and check out the spec and functions.

The Lidl one will do 6/12v settings for car/bike, shoves out something like 3.8 amps at car setting, will do AGM batteries and monitors/maintains as necessary.
