Lights acting up !?

Hope someone can help here.

Came home from a bimble this evening, parked up, on the side stand, keys in the ignition but ignition off.

Taking gloves, helmet, jacket etc off and I noticed the front and rear lights came on and off twice in the space of 2 minutes.

Then put bike in garage and as I put bike on centre stand it did it again. Took key out and watched it for 5 minutes but nothing

Anyone got any ideas??

I have GPS and Autocom but neither were being used at the time, GPS was still in the topbox!

Happened to me...then they stayed on full time...ignition switch was u/s and needed replaced.

Sounds familiar We had a similar issue with Madame's F800 (see here).

If it happens again, check to see if the ignition goes live spontaneously. If it does, it may be the electrical part of the ignition switch, which is I guess what george has had replaced.

We're on the fourth one atm.
