I bought an R1200R from them in 2009, they managed to sell me a bike that they had taken a deposit on but failed to complete but already registered to someone in the North East. Took several calls, emails and calls to the DVLA and three months to sort it. Easy sales and collection process and pleasant enough people to deal with, sad to see another dealer bight the dust.

I popped in last weekend and nearly everything had been packed up and ready to ship to their other dealership in WGC very little in the store at all. I think the HD side may have more to offer.

I popped into Lind this week, as I was passing and hadn’t visited before. I poked around a few bikes (didn’t see a 1300 anywhere, which was odd) and perused a few bits of clothing. Was probably in there for 10 minutes. The salesman and service bloke didn’t even look up from their screens to say hello, which probably tells you all you need to know…

I contacted Lind about the 1300 a while back, proably late October time. The "head of sales" as he described himself said they'd have a demo in by the end of the year and they'd have an official launch. That was the last I heard from them. I knew that Reiten already had at least three bikes.

Took a trip over to Narwitch earlier and bagged a discounted t-shirt. Serious savings on leathers and textiles available. At 0930 I was well behind the professional vultures were in a 45 person gaggle queued before it opened.
Saddest part of losing this dealer (even with the examples of poor service mentioned) is that the three people I spoke to, are jobless on Thursday.

Oh well. May have to sell the GS and get some thing with a dealer close to Norwich. Unless anyone knows of any good independent bods in Norwich?

Alternatively there's JTC Motorcycle Engineering just outside Halesworth. Run by Joe who is an ex-police motorcycle mechanic. Thorough and meticulous with your pride and joy. He's got Martin working with him who is also an ex-police mechanic from another force. I'll certainly be using them!
