Do you do local trips in uk?
I’d like to put faces to the helpful people on here who have been giving me some excellent advice

Can I just ask, WTF is this w/e in February? Is there something wrong with June or July, or am I missing the point?

Not generally regarded as a prime time for camping, and certainly not amongst "soft southern shandy drinkers", a description I only half identify with.

Its the souths equivalent of the double hard event, men, or soft southern shandy drinkers. , clearly we know which camp your in

Following the success of the ‘Winter gathering’ it would be great to repeat the event in the early summer, 4/5/6 July 2025

If this suits enough people, I’d suggest going back to the Seven Stars, near Wool, Wareham, Dorset at not least as we know it works, the ground is firm enough, the pub is very friendly / convenient / has decent food, and (not least) there is plenty to do in the area.

I think we learned a bit about the BBQ catering on the ‘Winter jaunt’, as we over definitely clubbed it on the food front. We also now know that the pub (not unreasonably)...
